With Paper Notes and Love

Image
*This is a short story that I have written. I hope you like it. 013119: I wrote this when I was 17. It's cringeworthy, brace yourself. - S "Hey, Kara, don't cry. Stay strong. Do you think Raven would like seeing you cry like that?" My friend has been consoling me the whole time. She told me not to cry because Raven will surely be sad seeing me break down like this if he was here. Raven is my love. We loved each other deeply. Everybody was jealous of us. Raven has always been the talk of the town especially the ladies. He got the looks, the brain and the attitude too. Beside the good looks, my Raven is a young man with a really, really cold personality. He doesn’t smile often not unless I ask him to. He doesn't do sweet things to me like flowers and chocolates and stuff like that. We don't even hold hands. We haven't kissed. We never hugged. Is that even called dating? I don't know why I stayed with him and I don't understand

When the shy girl took up Communication Arts for college

Hi. I'm seventeen and I'm on my second year in college. Back then, I was known to be a really really really shy girl. So reserved. So 'unapproachable'-looking. So scary. I am fully aware of that fact although I try to deny it sometimes. During my grade school, my teachers would tell my grandma, "Oh yes, she's really bright but she's too shy. She doesn't even try to recite and talk." Yep! I do that. Not bragging but I've been a constant honor student since I was a kid (no, not the valedictorian). But I excel in the written parts of the academe. NO TO SPEAKING. My teachers would always say that I could actually beat *insert name here* if I do a lot of talking but heck, that's a big no no. I have no clue why am I like this. It's not that I don't talk at all. I do. I really do talk. I can be a real nagger sometimes and a story machine to my friends, the closest ones (I only have few then, anyway). The are few reasons why I don't reci

"High School - Love On" (Korean Drama, 2014) : An Insight

Few hours ago, I just finished one Korean Drama which I consider as one of the best dramas I've seen —HIGH SCHOOL - LOVE ON. Nam Woo Hyun and Lee Seung Yeol of the popular boy band, Infinite, starred in this drama along with child actress, Kim Sae Ron. I admit that before I start watching dramas, I check the profiles of the celebrities who are portraying the characters. I guess I'm quite picky. I'm really fond of dramas that tackle "coming to age" ideals. And this drama, I think suits this quality I am looking for. Going back, so I checked the profiles and I was really surprised when I saw Kim Sae Ron's. She was born on the year 2000. I was like "Whuuuut?!" Anyway, it didn't matter to me. I thought that she's really pretty and lovely. Considering that she's a child actress, I believed that she's going to do an incredible job with this drama. And she did. Kudos to Kim Sae Ron! Such a wonderful girl. (I talk as if
